Licensed Asbestos Collection - What We Handle

Asbestos is found in many forms across older buildings, and each type needs careful, compliant handling. We collect and dispose of asbestos cement sheets, asbestos insulating board, pipe lagging, and floor and ceiling tiles. The work falls into two categories under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012: licensable work for higher-risk materials such as pipe lagging and insulating board, and non-licensable work for lower-risk items. All asbestos waste is transported in line with ADR rules for dangerous goods.

Duty of Care and Regulatory Compliance

Anyone responsible for a building carries a duty of care for its asbestos waste. The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 require licensable work to be carried out by a licensed contractor and, in most cases, notified to the HSE in advance. Each collection is accompanied by a waste consignment note, creating an unbroken record from source to disposal. We manage this chain on your behalf.
